PR agency House of Communication invited us to check out the collections and trends for Spring/Summer 2015, during Press Week. My definite favourites were the gym pieces from Moods of Norway, and the modernization of the Ecco shoes. More to come about those two later!

Spalt PR: SS15 Press Day

Press Week Spring Summer 2015 just closed in Oslo, and PR agency Spalt PR invited us to their showroom to present the collections and trends for summer-season 2015.
Spalt represents brands such as Adidas, Peak Performance, Thomas Sabo, Reebok and Tissot, amongst others.

So, I'm back pretty soon, after a revamping sabbatical. It really is quite exciting to relaunch the website, especially after Milan Fashion Week...

TOMs shoes at the U.S. Embassy

Marianne Jemtegård and fiancé violinist Philippe Benjamin Skow

I was invited to a reception at the U.S. Ambassador's residence, to meet Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMs shoes, and one of the world's most generous philanthropists.

We were given a presentation of the TOMs venture, and Mycoskie explained how the whole project came to being as well as how the journey has evolved.

 In addition, the "Models Giving Back"-project was presented, which is a campaign with fashion magazine ELLE and models Siri Tollerød, Erjona Ala and Alexandra Ørbeck-Nilssen, where the models get to donate funds and shoes to charity. All in all, it was indeed a very charitable afternoon.

Launch of ruedenorvege.com @F5

Thursday saw the launch of the new Oslo based streetstyle blog "ruedenorvege" by Fredrik Austad. The site focuses of looks from the streets of the Norwegian capital, and took place at the F5 concept store.

Guests were served chilled Brugal Suspiro, and a few of the shots were enlarged, printed and hung og the walls for all to see. Check out Fredrik's site on the link below.

Copenhagen Fashion Week AW14: Asger Juul Larsen

Some front row snaps from edgy Danish designer Asger Juul Larsen´s AW14 collection, who showed a bellicose collection of hibernate combat outfits.

Alps-like digitalized camouflage, with oversized gloves, pant-puches and turtlenecks appeared in heaps on the catwalk.

This - combined with exosceleton suits, bulky operation gloves contrasted with billowing capes in baby-head prints and silver suits - truly appealed to the taste of thesilverstreets.
